Cubaneros is one of Greece’s leading Latin bands, delivering an explosive blend of salsa, son cubano, timba and tropical rhythms to audiences across Latin America, Europe and beyond.

Founded in Patras, Greece, the band has earned an international reputation through its energetic live performances, authentic Latin sound and unique ability to connect cultures through music. Combining exceptional musicianship with an electrifying stage presence, Cubaneros has become a favorite act at festivals, concerts, clubs and major cultural events.

In August 2016, Cubaneros released their salsa interpretation of LP’s Lost On You, which rapidly became a global phenomenon. The song accumulated nearly 30 million views on YouTube, turning into a worldwide salsa standard danced in festivals, clubs and social dance communities throughout Europe, Latin America and many other parts of the world.

 2017 was a very important year for the band as they covered for the first time in the Spanish language, the Nina Simone’s classic “Feeling Good”, titled Y me Siento Bien,

which has almost 5.000.000 views and was included in the annual Latin compilation CD “Latina Fever 2018” of the French record label Wagram.

The band’s growing success led to performances throughout Greece and Cyprus, including a special appearance as the opening act for Luis Fonsi, the international superstar behind Despacito, during his concert in Ayia Napa, Cyprus, on August 10th, 2017.

On January 20th, 2018, Cubaneros performed at the opening ceremony of the Patras Carnival, Greece’s most iconic carnival festival and one of the country’s largest cultural events. Seven years later, the band returned to the same prestigious stage, once again opening the Patras Carnival 2025 in front of tens of thousands of spectators.

One of the most significant milestones in the band’s career came on May 24th, 2019, when Cubaneros traveled to Mexico to participate in the world-renowned Veracruz Salsa Fest. Performing before an audience of more than 60,000 people, the band shared the stage with legendary salsa artists such as Oscar D’León, Luis Enrique and Willie Colón, becoming one of the very few Greek Latin acts to appear at one of the most important salsa festivals in the world.

 On July 2020, Cubaneros released their first album, titled "A Mi Manera”.

It was recorded at Noisebox Studios in Patras Greece, and it contains 7 tracks:  5 original compositions and 2 covers ( “Play that funky music”, “You can leave your hat on”).

On the 18th of August 2021, the band travelled to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, to perform at the birthday celebration of the 1st lady of the country, Constancia Mangue.

Today, Cubaneros continues to bring its signature sound to audiences around the globe, combining authentic Latin traditions with contemporary influences and a powerful live show that keeps audiences dancing from the first note to the last.
