Cubaneros is a contemporary Latin band with salsa at its heart and a sound that moves freely across the rhythm and energy of Latin music.

Founded in  Patras, Greece,  Cubaneros brings together the Cuban roots of songwriter Anaisa Vega Castillo  and vocalist  Indhira Xiques  with the different backgrounds and influences of Greek brothers Panos and Konstantinos Panagopoulos, creating a unique and natural blend. A chemistry that turns into an energetic and intense performance, built on interaction, spontaneity and a strong connection with the audience.

In  August 2016,  Cubaneros released their salsa version of LP’s  Lost On You.  The track quickly reached audiences around the world and became a defining release for the band, with more than  30 million views  on YouTube and a lasting presence in salsa festivals, clubs and dance communities internationally.

 In  2017  Cubaneros released  "Y Me Siento Bien",  their Spanish-language version of Nina Simone's classic "Feeling Good". The track has nearly reached  5 million streams  on  Spotify and was included in Wagram Music's international  "Latina Fever 2018"  compilation.

The band’s growing international reach led to performances throughout Greece and Cyprus, including an appearance as the opening act for  Luis Fonsi  during his  "Love + Dance"   tour in Ayia Napa, Cyprus, in August 2017.

In  January 2018,  Cubaneros performed at the Opening Ceremony of the  Patras Carnival,  one of Greece's largest cultural celebrations. Seven years later, the band returned to the same mainstage for the Opening Ceremony of  Patras Carnival 2025, performing once again in front of tens of thousands of spectators.

One of the major milestones in the band’s career came on  May 24, 2019,  when the band performed at  SalsaFest  Veracruz  in Mexico in front of more than  60,000 people. The festival lineup featured some of Latin music's most celebrated names, including Oscar D' León, Luis Enrique and Willie Colón.

 In  July 2020,  Cubaneros released their debut album, "A Mi Manera”, 

recorded at  Noisebox Studios  in Patras. The seven-track album features five original compositions alongside Latin versions of  "Play That Funky Music"  and  "You Can Leave Your Hat On".  

Today, the  band is entering a new creative chapter, with original releases bringing the band's current musical identity to a growing international audience. With more than  10 million streams  on Spotify and listeners across  Latin America,  Europe   and  beyond, the band continues to evolve without losing the rhythm, energy and chemistry that have defined Cubaneros from the beggining.
